We are always looking for high potential businesses to connect with large customers in various manufacturing value chains.
I entered the Accelerator to get exposure, to grow my skills of selling my business to big customers, to benefit from the mentorship programme and to understand what my potential customers are looking for from SMMEs. I would encourage SMMEs to take opportunities like these going forward because I know it’s not easy.

We are glad that we were part of the Accelerator, as we would not be where we are now in terms of skills set. The business case development phase with our mentor was eye-opening because we have identified an opportunity to expand our products and have already produced a sample of our new product.

The Accelerator has been one of the most elevating experiences since starting my business. Over the past years, our heads have been under water, grinding away to nurture business from a grassroots level. This initiative has afforded us the opportunity to pick up our heads and play at a level that feels like corporate, getting expert training, coaching and guidance. To be a part of this experience is so encouraging and motivating. To have been recognised and acknowledged through the phases of the Accelerator was special. I am still feeling like I am walking in the clouds. It has really done something for me personally, at a very deep level.

Words cannot truly describe what an honour and privilege it was to be a part of the Accelerator. After three months of due dates and stressful submissions, nail-biting moments and the exhilarating feeling of continuously making it through to the next stage, we finally had the opportunity to showcase our business, our talent and our skills to big customers who were the Head Buyers of South Africa’s leading retailers. This hopefully opens the doors for many more exciting opportunities, and we look forward to becoming the reputable, direct manufacturers and suppliers of South Africa and Africa’s leading retailers in the near future!
